A beautiful volume of three Properly Made Books, revisits the days of personal account and note keeping.

THE BOOKS:

This volume is bound in royal purple goatskin, with crimson leather onlays to the spine, tooled in genuine gold leaf to all surfaces.

Many of the brass tools used on this book have been engraved by hand in the studio.

Bound in the most traditional of styles, these handsome books feature ink sprinkled edges in blue.

THE PAPER INSIDE:

The pages inside are repurposed from a large antique ledger which has been cut down, folded and sewn into smaller, pocket sized versions.

The ruling and lines on the pages inside these books vary from page to page, lending random-ruled character to what would otherwise be uniform and a little bit boring! 

THE HOUSING:

This set is housed in a gold tooled, leather entry slipcase, covered with rescued antique marbled papers, the inside lined in hand printed paper.

LAYFLAT:

All Properly Made Books are made to open completely flat and beyond, opening a full 360 degrees, cover to cover, without causing any damage to the spine and giving you full access to the papery real estate.

SIZE:

Each book measures 3⅜ x 2¼ inches (85 x 68 mm) and contains 136 pages of ruled/lined paper.
