Leather bound ledger book.
A beautiful one-off Properly Made Book revisits the days of personal account and note keeping.
THE DETAILS This book is bound in tan sheepskin and tooled in genuine gold leaf to all surfaces.
Many of the brass tools used on this book have been engraved by hand in the studio.
The pages inside are repurposed from a large antique ledger which has been cut down, folded and sewn into smaller, pocket sized versions. The ruling and lines on the pages inside these books vary from page to page, lending random-ruled character to what would otherwise be uniform and a little bit boring!
Bound in the most traditional of styles, this handsome book features ink sprinkled edges and hand sewn headbands in blue and white silk thread.
STATS: This book measures 5⅝ x 3½ inches (145 x 90 mm) and contains 188 pages of ruled/lined paper.
