Hand Printed Paper
They are loosely displayed by print type (paste, lino, letterpress/relief, silkscreen, Dutch Gilt, cyanotype etc) and/or style type. Most of the images have been cropped to show as much of the pattern as possible.
Some of the patterns are repeatedly displayed if they have been produced in multiple colour ways, or on products if images of the full prints are not to hand.

Ten paste printed papers made as a set.
KATAGAMI PATTERNS
A range of papers made variously in cyanotype or relief. The patterns are taken from antique Japanese paper stencils, produced in the 1800s and 1900s. They were used to apply patterns onto fabric in indigo.

LETTERPRESS RELIEF STUFF
POUCHOIR - a complex 3 stage letterpress print, the pattern based on a post WW1 French pouchoir design, tightened up for letterpress. Made in various colour ways over the years.
This pattern has been hanging around VPCo for a number of years but has never been used. It's based on an early European woodblock print.
The relief print plate, above, is carved in magnesium.
The pattern has no name or number.
Another little used pattern is this one, the plate seen in postion on the press.
The pattern, seen here, has been printed in copper, silver and gold.
An early European, woodblock printed repeat pattern seen printed in traditional blue and yellow and an inverted version, in turquoise.

Lino Prints
Dutch Gilt Print, using golden metal leaf instead of ink. Technique dates back to the 1700s.
