Angels

A set of four hand printed and gilt angel decorations. Originating as hand coloured lino relief prints made on VPCo Handmade paper, these are cut out and mounted on birchwoodpainted with gilt gold on all sides. 

The angels were found as medieval art on the ceiling of a church in Norfolk. They were drawn and from those drawing, a lino printing block was made.

The angels are printed in black and the colours added one by one, by hand. The angels can be hung with fishing wire or stand freely. 

Supplied as a set of four in a hand sewn fabric bag and a wood storage box.
