Properly Made Book Archive
In no particular order, an image archive of handbound books from our Properly Made Books series made since 2018.
Properly Made Books are made to the absolute highest standard and are the finest quality, off-the shelf- blank books available anywhere.
Some are made in a series and many are one-offs. In either event every single one is different and will never be remade.
Even the seemingly simple books have a hidden detail rarely if ever found in books made elsewhere be it vellum tipped corners, gold tooling in unexpected places or even something as simple as a polished book cloth or ink sprinkled edges.
LayFlat
All Properly Made Books are LayFlat bindings. This is the superior method used to make books. LayFlat books can be fully opened without fear of causing structural damage to a bindings.
