Hatakami Butta Papers are, by design, imperfect.
No two sheets will be the same - the tonality across the sheet may vary as will the texture.
These are coloured and laminated by hand on handmade paper made from Nepalese lokta fibre, a fully sustainable plant harvested from the wild.
Butta paper has a hard, rough, uneven surface and is perfect when used as a cover material.
The most effective way to adhere butta paper to another surface (e.g book board, grey board, lining paper etc is using PVA /bookbinding/craft glue.
Usage - bookbinding, box covering, decoupage, collage, lamp shades, gift wrapping.
