FJ Head - Charles 1st WATERLEAF (16 sheet pack)
FJ Head were paper merchants who in 1908 devised a series of papers which were made for them by Barcham Green at Hayle Mill.
Mr Head was killed in World War 1 and his partner, Frederick A Brett joined Barcham Green.
Barcham Green continued to make and market the papers themselves until the 1980s when they too closed.
These are text/book weight which are ideal for bookbinding, printmaking and conservation.
THIS IS WATERLEAF PAPER.
Waterleaf means that the paper has not been sized and so is unsuitable for use with water based media. It will work perfectly for letterpress text and etching etc.
