FJ Head were paper merchants who in 1908 devised a series of papers which were made for them by Barcham Green at Hayle Mill.
When FJ Head closed, Barcham Green continued to make and market the papers themselves until the 1980s when they too closed.
These are text/book weight which are ideal for bookbinding, printmaking and conservation.

Watermarks: are the "head of Christ as transferred to the kerchief of St Berenice (or Veronica as it is said to be the Vera Icon or true image) when she wiped his face as he carried the cross to Golgotha" (Simon Green) and the hand of a pope.
