This elegant book has been bound in leather and bookcloth. The spine is a beautiful Scottish tanned brown leather with blind tooling along the long edges and gold tooling on top and tail of the spine, the spine.
Blind tooling is a pattern created with heated brass tools in the same way as gold tooling but where no gold leaf is used.
The foredges are gold gilt.
Size - 125 x 185 mm, 5 x 7 1/4 inches
It contains 76 pages (152 sides) of smooth cartridge paper for ink and pencil.
