A vintage handmade watercolour and drawing paper, highly desirable and absolutely beautiful. 

This is a buff toned paper made by Whatman called "Creswick"-  a very popular paper originally designed & made by Thomas Creswick.

The color of this amazing paper seems to be alive as it changes with with lighting during the day. The buff colour at times seems slightly yellow then pink and then off white. This paper is fantastic for figurative works in watercolor & drawing

Handmade in the 1920s or 30s at the Springfield Mill, Kent, England.
