Repeat Pattern Prints
A range of repeat pattern, hand printed papers devised for bookbinding and the general paper crafts.
Papiers Dominotes are decorative papers which feature or include strong geometric repeat patterns - chequers, circles or shapes etc.
The patterns and designs are copies of, or influenced by patterned, decorative papers found in books made from the 1600s and onwards including French Papiers Dominotes, Italian woodblock prints and German Buntpapier.
ALPs are printed from hand cut lino blocks in one or two colours on antique, handmade text printed papers. Various printmaking techniques are employed including standard relief print, paste printing and stenciling.
ALPS XL are large format, single colour lino prints made on tinted (hand painted) contemporary machine-made paper.
FANCY PRINTS are multiple process, multi-colour prints.
These papers can be used for a variety of purposes including bookbinding and box making, furniture decoration, interior design projects, picture framing and the general paper crafts.
