VPCO Handmade is a premium quality paper by us and for people like us - artists and makers.

Here at VPCo, we take paper incredibly seriously, it's our #1 passion, the very foundation of our business. The characteristics and capabilities of paper we use in book and print is always the first consideration in any project we undertake.

Frustrated at the lack of affordable handmade paper perfect for our use, we devised and brought to market a line of handmade paper - VPCo Handmade. 

VPCo Handmade is produced using a 60/40 blend of cotton and linen. This is a characterful and robust paper which competes with, and in most cases surpasses the best paper available anywhere in terms of manufacturing quality, consistency, flexibility of use and value.

Upon release, it proved to be very popular, much more so than we anticipated - we sold almost everything we had in a short space of time, so we had to withdraw the remainder and hold on to the last few hundred sheets for our own projects. 

The good news is that more is coming in Autumn 2024 but before that happens we decided to release a little bit of it in a slim, small, affordable, glued pad format. 

We've made a limited quantity of A6 sized pads (approximately 6 x 4 inches, 100 x 148 mm).

Each pad is filled with 10 sheets (20 sides) of 220gsm creamy-white handmade paper.

Easily carried around in a bag or a bag pocket, these are a no-frills, practical way to make art on the move using fabulous quality paper.  

The Slim Travel Pads are available in single or twin packs. 

The pads are glued along the short side which allows for easy removal of a completed drawing should you sell it, give it away or decide to frame it.

VPCo Handmade 220gsm is perfect for printmaking, painting and drawing in most media including but not limted to watercolour, acrylic, gouache, inks, pencils, pastels etc.

All VPCo Handmade Paper is internally sized, acid-free and has no grain direction.

SLIM TRAVEL PADS are shipped in a flat postal box. Orders containing more than one twin pack or combinding other products such as printed paper will increase shipping charges and we will have to contact you to ask for a separate shipping payment.
