Orkney Folk Festival poster

Printed by hand to celebrate this year's Orkney folk festival.

Made using antique wood type which was used until the 1980s to produce posters in Orkney by the Orcadian newspaper.

We continue this tradition by occasionally producing posters for local events such as music festivals.

This particular poster was made in metallic copper ink over a screenprinted Japanese katagami patterned background.

Made in a ltd edition of 20. Only 3 remain at the time of publishing online.
