Nepalese paper is suitable for many crafts including bookbinding as cover and endpapers, box covering, decoupage, collage, interior design, lampshades, furniture and many others.

Organization, remuneration, working time, women's employment, protection of employees and the environment are at the heart of a permanent dialogue.

In Nepal, this dialogue goes even further, since it is at the origin of a retirement system for the workers, a medical follow-up for themselves and their families, as well as the schooling of their children.

Our Nepalese suppliers have obtained these international certificates:

  • ISO 9001: 2000 which ensures that products are constantly in step with what customers are asking for and regulations in force, while ensuring that their quality continues to improve;
  • ISO 14001: 2004 through which environmental impact is measured and improved, such as a water recycling system used in the Nepalese workshop.

Our Nepali partners are among the few companies that have been able to obtain the "fair trade" label after many audits. They are now members of Fair Trade Group Nepal whose main objective is to promote fair trade in Nepal.
