When it comes to decorative papers, we only sell hand printed stuff, no machine printed paper for us.
There's nothing wrong with machine printed paper, I really really like some of it, it's beautiful and I often toy with the idea of getting some printed up or buying some in but me being me, I love the hands on human touch, the imperfections and the knowledge, skills and labour it's taken to produce something one sheet at a time and so beautiful that it will go on to be looked at closely by its new owner, used to make something special and treasured.
Hand printed paper is more special and precious than sending a file to an industrial estate printers where someone presses a button and wanders off for a cup of tea. It just is. I can't get over that. If I could I'd probably be better off but not as happy.
